LOS ANGELES-<\/strong> A JetBlue Airways (B6)<\/a> first-class passenger has been arrested<\/a> following accusations of inappropriate sexual behavior toward flight crew members on a transcontinental flight from Fort Lauderdale (FLL) to Los Angeles (LAX).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dennis Woodbury faces serious charges of abusive sexual contact aboard JetBlue Flight B6201 after allegedly slapping a flight attendant and exposing himself to crew members in the premium Mint Class cabin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

JetBlue Passenger Arrested at LAX<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The troubling episode unfolded on April 13, 2025, during JetBlue’s transcontinental service. According to the FBI<\/a> criminal affidavit filed in federal court, Woodbury’s inappropriate behavior began before departure and escalated throughout the flight.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The incident occurred during a mechanical delay when Woodbury allegedly showed a flight attendant what appeared to be an innocent photo of a dog, which actually contained a blurred image of sexual content in the background.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When the crew member expressed shock, Woodbury reportedly laughed and suggested the attendant “go on a cruise on him.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Woodbury allegedly consumed an entire bottle of Prosecco within three hours. During the safety demonstration, he reportedly made inappropriate gestures toward a crew member and attempted to use the restroom while the aircraft was taxiing to the runway, violating standard safety protocols.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Escalating Behavior<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

After falling asleep briefly, Woodbury was awakened by a flight attendant<\/a> who attempted to serve him a meal to counteract his alcohol consumption. As this crew member passed with meal trays, Woodbury allegedly slapped the flight attendant’s buttocks while exclaiming, “I love you!”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When the targeted flight attendant departed to inform colleagues of the situation, Woodbury reportedly entered the forward galley and exposed himself to another crew member.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Despite the attendant’s professional handling of the situation, Woodbury allegedly returned later, requested wine, and exposed himself again after being denied further alcohol service.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Law enforcement personnel were arranged to meet the aircraft upon arrival at Los Angeles International Airport. FBI agents at LAX read Woodbury his Miranda Rights and questioned him about the in-flight incidents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

While declining to fully engage with FBI questioning, Woodbury claimed one of the flight attendants had “solicited” him to enter the bathroom\u2014an allegation that contradicts the crew members’ accounts documented in the criminal complaint.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Similar Incident<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Last Month, a passenger was taken into custody following a severe disturbance aboard United Airlines (UA)<\/a> flight UA3049 from Dubai (DXB) to Newark (EWR). The incident occurred approximately 10-11 hours into the 14-hour journey on a Boeing 777-300ER aircraft.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Law enforcement responded in force, with about twenty officers boarding the plane immediately upon its arrival at Newark Liberty International Airport. The disruption profoundly affected the flight crew, with multiple flight attendants visibly shaken and some reportedly brought to tears during the incident.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to eyewitness accounts, the situation escalated into a violent confrontation between the disruptive passenger and a flight attendant<\/a>. An off-duty law enforcement officer traveling as a passenger intervened decisively, detaining the unruly individual in the aircraft’s rear galley after rushing through the cabin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Flight attendants implemented emergency security protocols in response to the threat. They announced mandatory seating requirements for all passengers, restricting movement throughout the cabin for approximately 30-40 minutes. These restrictions included a complete ban on lavatory access during the height of the incident.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The security measures disrupted the scheduled meal service, and even after general movement restrictions were lifted, the rear lavatories remained closed as a precautionary measure. Passengers faced continued inconvenience as the crew maintained heightened security awareness for the remainder of the flight.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
