By targeting underserved markets like Wilmington and Norfolk, the airline caters to travelers seeking unique destinations.

The addition of routes to existing cities strengthens JetBlue’s focus cities, ensuring better schedule flexibility and connectivity.

The A220 aircraft, used on the Boston routes, enhances the travel experience with modern amenities, making JetBlue a competitive choice for leisure and business travelers alike.

Airport officials welcomed JetBlue’s entry with enthusiasm. Jeff Bourk, Director of ILM, emphasized the airline’s role in offering affordable travel and international connectivity from Wilmington.

Mark Perryman, CEO of Norfolk Airport Authority, highlighted the value JetBlue brings to residents and visitors across Coastal Virginia and northeastern North Carolina.

This strategic expansion supports JetBlue’s goal of offering more nonstops to high-demand leisure destinations, meeting rising travel demand across the Eastern US.

Stay tuned with us.
