This situation mirrors the aftermath of the 2019 Pulwama terror attack when similar restrictions were imposed. The longer detours necessitated by airspace closures directly impact an airline’s operating costs and overall financial performance.

The current restrictions may extend beyond the initially announced period depending on diplomatic developments between the two nations. IndiGo (6E) continues to update affected passengers as the situation evolves, while working to minimise disruptions to its international network.

For passengers with bookings on the affected routes, IndiGo (6E) recommends checking their flight status regularly and contacting customer service for assistance with alternative travel arrangements.

Stay tuned with us.
