On March 31, 2025, FedEx Express (FX) initiated its cargo flight from Singapore Changi Airport (SIN) to the continental United States, marking it as one of the longest non-stop cargo routes globally.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Flight FX 5601, operating six times weekly, the service utilizes Boeing 777<\/a> freighters, each capable of carrying approximately 88,000 kg of cargo. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This route eliminates the need for shipments to transit through Japan, reducing transit times by up to 24 hours. For instance, cargo collected on Saturday from Singapore, Malaysia, or Thailand can now reach the US by Monday, compared to Tuesday previously.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
