GOA-<\/strong> Air India Express (IX)<\/a> has expanded operations to Manohar International Airport (GOX) in North Goa, complementing its existing services at Goa International Airport (GOI).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The airline now operates over 115 weekly flights from Goa\u201475 from GOI and more than 40 from GOX\u2014enhancing access to North Goa’s<\/a> tourist attractions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Air India Express Goa Flights<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Effective April 15, 2025, Air India Express launched new connections from North Goa to Bengaluru (BLR), Chennai (MAA), Delhi (DEL)<\/a>, and Indore (IDR), with twice-daily Delhi flights, daily services to Bengaluru and Indore, and Chennai flights six days weekly. International routes to Kuwait (KWI) and Abu Dhabi (AUH) will commence in May 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Air India Express’s dual-airport strategy in Goa marks a significant expansion of the carrier’s presence in this popular tourist destination.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The airline now serves both South Goa through GOI and North Goa via GOX, offering travelers unprecedented flexibility when visiting the coastal state.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

North Goa, known for its pristine beaches, vibrant nightlife, bustling markets, and rich cultural heritage, is now more accessible to domestic and international travelers alike.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The airline’s expansion from North Goa includes a robust domestic network with twice-daily flights to Delhi, daily connections to Bengaluru and Indore, and six weekly flights to Chennai. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Additional domestic connectivity will be enhanced when Hyderabad (HYD) services commence on May 3, 2025. The international expansion is equally impressive, with direct flights to Kuwait launching on May 3, followed by Abu Dhabi services from May 5, 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Celebrating the Expansion<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

To commemorate the launch of operations from North Goa, Air India Express and Manohar International Airport hosted a celebration attended by key executives and stakeholders. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Siddhartha Butalia, Chief Marketing Officer, and Shashi Chetia, Vice President of Network Planning from Air India Express joined Anand Ramachandran, Deputy CEO of Manohar International Airport, along with representatives from CISF, Customs, and other operational partners.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The inaugural flight was marked by presenting a ceremonial boarding pass to the first passenger.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Air India Express’s Growing Network<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Air India Express has experienced remarkable growth in recent years, doubling its capacity in just two years with a fleet that recently welcomed its 100th aircraft. The airline now operates over 500 daily flights<\/strong> connecting 55 destinations across India, the Middle East, and Southeast Asia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

From Goa International Airport (GOI), Air India Express currently maintains connections to eight domestic destinations including Bengaluru, Chennai, Delhi, Hindon, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Mumbai, and Surat, along with international service to Dubai. Through one-stop itineraries, passengers can connect to 22 additional domestic destinations <\/strong>and eight international locations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Air India Express also offers curated travel experiences through its ‘Xpress Holidays’ platform, providing end-to-end packages including flights, accommodation, transport, and immersive local experiences for travelers visiting Goa and other destinations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
