A350-900<\/a> equipped with Rolls-Royce&#8217;s enhanced <a href=\"https:\/\/aviationa2z.com\/index.php\/tag\/rolls-royce-trent-xwb-engines\/\">Trent XWB-84 EP<\/a> engines has received official certification from Europe&#8217;s aviation regulator, EASA.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Enhanced Performance capability of the Trent XWB-84 engine will deliver<strong> one percent lower fuel consumption, reducing airline operating costs <\/strong>and <strong>emissions. <\/strong>Though one percent might seem minimal, these savings accumulate significantly over an aircraft&#8217;s lifespan, especially Certified<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The Rolls-Royce Trent XWB-84 EP evolved from the current engine powering the A350-900 with several design improvements- upgraded fan, compressor, and turbine aerodynamics along with enhanced turbine blade cooling.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This certification milestone shows the ongoing development and improvement of the A350-900 and its Trent XWB engines since entering service a decade ago.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/aviationa2z.com\/index.php\/tag\/easa\/\">EASA&#8217;s<\/a> approval will soon be followed by <a
