HYDERABAD-<\/strong> Hong Kong’s flag carrier Cathay Pacific (CX)<\/a> resumed operations from Hyderabad (HYD)<\/a> this week, with 3 weekly flights<\/strong> after suspending services during the COVID-19 pandemic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The airline recorded impressive load factors immediately upon relaunch, with the first flight on Sunday achieving approximately 75% passenger capacity and full cargo load, while the second flight on Thursday operated at 100% capacity for both passengers and cargo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cathay Pacific (CX) plans to increase flight frequency from Hyderabad (HYD) to 5 weekly flights by September 2025, matching its pre-pandemic service level. <\/strong>This expansion comes in response to strong demand and high load factors observed since the resumption of operations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With Hyderabad’s readdition, Cathay Pacific (CX) now operates 39 weekly flights from five Indian cities \u2013 Delhi (DEL)<\/a>, Mumbai (BOM)<\/a>, Bengaluru (BLR)<\/a>, Chennai (MAA)<\/a>, and Hyderabad (HYD). This number will increase to 43 weekly flights once the Hyderabad frequency expansion takes effect in September.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
