GURUGRAM<\/strong>– Air India Express (IX)<\/a>, a wholly owned subsidiary of Air India (AI)<\/a> under the Tata Group<\/a>, is implementing an aggressive growth strategy that encompasses multiple dimensions of airline operations. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The carrier has set an ambitious target of transporting 30 million passengers in the 2025-26<\/strong> financial year, a significant leap from the current year’s 20 million passengers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Air India Express Operations<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

AIX currently maintains a robust operational framework with a fleet of 103 aircraft<\/strong>, including 67 Boeing 737s<\/a> and 36 A320s<\/a>. This diverse fleet enables the airline to operate approximately 485 daily flights<\/strong>, demonstrating substantial operational capacity and market reach.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Air India Express (IX) plans a significant fleet reconfiguration, transitioning to an all-economy class configuration by the first quarter of 2026-27<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
