All passengers were disembarked without incident, and the aircraft later resumed its journey to Jamaica.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

TUI Flight Emergency Landing<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The TUI flight BY138<\/strong> to Montego Bay, Jamaica, departed Manchester Airport (MAN) at 9:38 AM on Wednesday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

While flying over the Irish Sea, the crew detected a technical issue. The captain opted to return to Manchester Airport for safety.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The aircraft carried 70 passengers and 11 crew members. Aviation news sources cited hydraulic system complications affecting flap operations, while others mentioned possible engine issues. United Airlines confirmed only a mechanical problem.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The flight was operated by a Boeing 767-322ER<\/a>, registered as N665UA, a 26.7-year-old aircraft powered by PW4060 turbofan engines. United’s aging transatlantic fleet is set to be replaced by Boeing 787s in the coming years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
