In January 2025, Police authorities opened an investigation into serious allegations concerning three Virgin Australia flight attendants who reportedly experienced theft and sexual assault during New Year’s Eve celebrations in Nadi, Fiji.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The incidents allegedly occurred after the crew members had visited nightclubs in the Martintar area of Nadi. According to reports, the victims are currently confined to their rooms at the airline’s designated accommodation facility while Fijian authorities pursue the investigation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Acting Commissioner of Police Juki Fong Chew has confirmed to the Fiji Sun newspaper that officials are actively investigating reports of theft alongside rape or sexual assault allegations stemming from the crew members’ night out in the popular tourist destination.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Virgin Australia’s Chief Operating Officer Stuart Aggs addressed the situation on January 1st, acknowledging the security breach’s severity. Aggs emphasized that the airline’s primary focus remains on supporting the affected staff members and ensuring their welfare during this difficult period.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
