The announcement featured New York congressman Adriano Espaillat, who is of Dominican origin, alongside Dominican consuls Jes\u00fas V\u00e1zquez and Jos\u00e9 Santana from New York and New Jersey respectively.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Travelers arriving in Santo Domingo can choose to explore the Dominican Republic or connect to any of Arajet&#8217;s 24 destinations. Newark Liberty International Airport offers strategic advantages as an entry point to the New York region due to its central location, robust public transportation connections, and proximity to Manhattan. The inaugural flights will take off on June 16.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The airline offers customizable fare options allowing passengers to enhance their travel experience with additional services including extra legroom, checked baggage, and priority boarding. Customers can now secure affordable flights with one-way fares starting at $127 from Newark to Santo Domingo and $135 for the return journey.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Founded in 2022, Arajet serves as the Dominican Republic&#8217;s flagship carrier.
