LONDON-<\/strong> Norse Atlantic Airways (N0)<\/a> is launching a new non-stop route from London Gatwick (LGW)<\/a> to Bangkok (BKK)<\/a>, offering fares at significantly lower prices than British Airways (BA). The budget long-haul airline aims to capitalize on the growing demand for affordable travel to Thailand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Set to commence in October 2025, the seasonal winter service will operate up to four flights per week. With fares starting at just \u00a3295 for basic Economy, Norse Atlantic positions itself as a cost-effective alternative to legacy carriers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Norse Atlantic Low Cost London-Bangkok Flight<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Norse Atlantic Airways (N0), known for its low-cost transatlantic services, is now expanding further into Asia with a new direct route between London (LGW) and Bangkok (BKK). <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This move places it in direct competition with British Airways (BA)<\/a>, Thai Airways (TG)<\/a>, and EVA Air (BR)<\/a>, all of which operate flights from London to the Thai capital.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The airline plans to operate the route as a winter seasonal service, targeting British travelers seeking an escape from the cold. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Key tourist destinations such as Phuket, Koh Phi Phi, and Koh Samui are expected to benefit from the increased connectivity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Norse Atlantic’s entry into the London-Bangkok market introduces a much more affordable option for travelers. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The airline offers return fares starting from just \u00a3295, including taxes. However, this basic fare does not include checked luggage or complimentary meals for the 11-hour journey.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For those requiring additional services, the Economy Classic fare, which includes checked baggage and meals, remains significantly cheaper than British Airways’ comparable ticket. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

For example, flights in October 2025 are priced at \u00a3407 with Norse Atlantic, while British Airways charges up to \u00a3827 for similar services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Norse Atlantic Fleet Advantage<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

One of Norse Atlantic’s key advantages is its modern fleet of Boeing 787 Dreamliners<\/a>. Unlike British Airways, which operates aging Boeing 777<\/a> aircraft, Norse\u2019s Dreamliners feature fuel-efficient technology and jet-lag-reducing cabin pressure systems. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The airline’s 787s are configured with 282 Economy seats and 56 Premium Economy seats, though it does not offer a Business Class cabin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Expansion Beyond Passenger Services<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Beyond its scheduled flights, Norse Atlantic has been shifting its business model towards a hybrid approach, combining its own route network with aircraft leasing agreements. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Recently, the airline entered into a deal with IndiGo (6E)<\/a>, India\u2019s largest airline, to wet-lease one of its Boeing 787s for at least six months. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Negotiations are ongoing for further leasing agreements, which could help Norse Atlantic expand its revenue streams while maintaining flexibility in its operations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
