DUBAI-<\/strong> School students in the UAE demonstrated their engineering skills at the eighth Water Rocket Competition, hosted by Emirates Aviation University (EAU)<\/a> in collaboration with Boeing<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The annual event aims to foster innovation, promote STEM education, and encourage hands-on problem-solving.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The competition challenged students to design and launch rockets using basic materials, harnessing only water and air pressure. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The initiative aligns with broader efforts to develop the next generation of aerospace professionals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Emirates and Boeing Water Rocket Competition<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Water Rocket Competition, held at EAU\u2019s Dubai campus, brought together students from grades 11 and 12<\/strong>, working in teams of four. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Each team built rockets using readily available materials, ensuring accessibility and fostering creativity. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The rockets were launched at a precise 45-degree angle, relying solely on water and air pressure for propulsion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Professor Ahmad Al Ali, Vice Chancellor of Emirates Aviation University, emphasized the competition\u2019s role in shaping future engineers and scientists. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

He stated, \u201cThe Water Rocket Competition is part of our corporate social responsibility initiatives. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Not only does the competition ignite curiosity in young minds, but it also equips future industry leaders with the skills and passion needed to drive the world forward. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Achievements in the Competition<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

A panel of judges from Emirates Aviation University and Boeing evaluated the launches and announced the winning teams. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The standout performance came from “It\u2019s Not Rocket Science<\/strong>” from Dubai English Speaking College, whose rocket soared to an unprecedented 120 meters, setting a new record.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
