DENVER-<\/strong> Frontier Airlines (F9)<\/a> announced the introduction of three routes, marking a significant expansion of its network at major U.S. airports.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Denver-based carrier will resume services that were discontinued in 2019 due to the pandemic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Frontier Airlines New Routes<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The airline will launch daily flights between Dulles International Airport and Las Vegas’ Harry Reid International Airport starting May 1.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Charlotte Douglas International Airport <\/a>to Tampa International Airport service will operate four times weekly beginning May 2.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Beginning on May 17, weekly Saturday flights connecting Cincinnati\/Northern Kentucky International Airport to Punta Cana International Airport in the Dominican Republic will commence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Frontier introduces promotional fares starting at $29 for these routes. The carrier’s ultra-low-cost model requires additional fees for services such as baggage and seat selection on these introductory fares.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The revival of these routes indicates Frontier’s strategic return to pre-pandemic service levels while strengthening its presence in key markets. The expansion enhances connectivity between major U.S. cities and adds an international destination to the carrier’s growing network.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Spirit Airlines (NK)<\/a> currently competes in the Charlotte market, while Frontier becomes the first ultra-low-cost carrier to serve the Dulles-Las Vegas route. This expansion marks a significant departure from Frontier’s traditional focus on secondary airports, reflecting a broader strategic shift in response to changing market dynamics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Frontier recently expanded its presence at New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport, launching three new routes including transcontinental service to Los Angeles.
