MONTREAL-<\/strong> Porter Airlines (PD)<\/a> is strengthening its presence in the New York metropolitan area by introducing a new direct route between Montr\u00e9al-Trudeau International Airport (YUL)<\/a> and Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR)<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This expansion enhances travel options for passengers while reinforcing Porter\u2019s commitment to seamless connectivity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Starting June 1, 2025, the airline will operate one roundtrip flight daily, increasing to twice daily during peak summer months. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The route will be served by Porter\u2019s 78-seat De Havilland Dash 8-400 aircraft, offering premium in-flight amenities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Porter Airlines Adds Flights to New York<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Porter Airlines (PD) new Montr\u00e9al (YUL) – Newark (EWR) route aligns with its broader strategy to increase connectivity between major North American destinations. The initial Porter Airlines Newark flight schedule is as follows:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This expansion strengthens Porter\u2019s presence at Newark, complementing existing flights to Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport (YTZ)<\/a> and Ottawa International Airport (YOW)<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Additionally, Porter is launching a Toronto Pearson (YYZ) – LaGuardia (LGA)<\/a> route this spring, further enhancing its U.S. connectivity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Passengers on Porter\u2019s Dash 8-400 aircraft will enjoy a comfortable journey with no middle seats, complimentary beer and wine served in glassware, and premium snacks. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Those opting for PorterReserve fares will benefit from extra legroom, priority check-in, and boarding, and included checked baggage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Montr\u00e9al-Newark route also connects seamlessly to Porter\u2019s domestic network, with onward flights available to Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton, and Halifax. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Additionally, these flights are scheduled to enable smooth connections with Air Transat\u2019s European destinations via Montr\u00e9al.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
