As of January 2025, the airline&#8217;s mainline fleet consists of <strong>986 aircraft<\/strong>, making it the <strong>second-largest airline fleet worldwide<\/strong> after United Airlines (UA).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With a strategic mix of narrow-body and wide-body aircraft from both <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/aviationa2z.com\/?s=Airbus\">Airbus<\/a> and Boeing<\/strong>, Delta ensures optimal efficiency across domestic, transcontinental, and long-haul international routes.
