MUNICH – <\/strong>Lufthansa (LH)<\/a> has announced the extension of its Airbus A380 service on the Munich-Bangkok route, amid the high travel demand during Thailand\u2019s Songkran Festival. Initially scheduled to operate for a limited period, the A380 service will now continue until April 25, 2025, offering travelers a more spacious and luxurious flying experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The German flag carrier\u2019s decision highlights its commitment to offer premium service on this long-haul route, meeting the growing needs of both business and leisure travelers. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lufthansa has been operating regular flights to Thailand for 65 years, reinforcing strong ties between Thailand and Germany.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A380 Deployment for the Songkran Holiday Rush<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Songkran, Thailand\u2019s New Year festival, attracts millions of domestic and international travelers each year. Recognizing the increased demand, the German carrier extended the A380 service to accommodate more passengers during this peak season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lufthansa Expands A380 Network with First-Ever Denver Flight<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

In another milestone, Lufthansa is set to introduce the Airbus A380 to Denver International Airport (DEN) for the first time. Starting April 30, 2025, the airline will launch daily flights between Munich (MUC) and Denver, marking Denver as the sixth destination in Lufthansa\u2019s A380 network.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The flight, operating under flight number LH480, will depart Munich at 11:15 AM and land in Denver at 1:45 PM local time. The return flight will leave Denver at 4:15 PM, arriving in Munich the next morning at 10:50 AM.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to Heiko Reitz, Chief Commercial Officer of Lufthansa Airlines, \u201cThe Airbus A380 service to Denver is not only a first for Lufthansa but also for the airport itself.
