The aircraft taxied safely to the terminal and after passengers and crew disembarked safely, the delta techops team inspected the aircraft for damage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The plane did not suffer any heavy damage, the aircraft continued its flight from RDU to Orlando (MCO) as per its schedule.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The aircraft involved in the incident is <a href=\"https:\/\/aviationa2z.com\/?s=A320\">Airbus A320<\/a>, registered as <strong>N327NW<\/strong>. The flight had been scheduled to depart Dakar at 11:05 AM for New York&#8217;s John F. Kennedy International Airport.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Senegal&#8217;s transport ministry confirmed the emergency stop of the aircraft carrying 216 passengers, noting no injuries among passengers or crew members. The nation&#8217;s civil aviation agency has initiated an investigation, with the Bureau of Investigations and Analysis conducting a parallel inquiry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Delta Air Lines&#8217; Media Relations team later confirmed with Aviation A2Z that a bird strike caused the aborted takeoff. United Airlines confirmed the incident on Tuesday, reporting that passengers transferred to a replacement Boeing 737-9 MAX, arriving in Denver with a 3\u00bd-hour delay.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The affected aircraft resumed normal operations by Sunday, completing the same route rotation.
