The incident occurred during a flight to San Juan (SJU), Puerto Rico, with the crew safely landing the aircraft despite the mid-flight emergency.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/aviationa2z.com\/index.php\/tag\/FAA\/\">Federal Aviation Administration (FAA)<\/a> has launched an investigation into the event, which caused a 5-hour delay for passengers. While approaching the airport, the crew advised that no immediate assistance was needed. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>However, audio transmissions captured the sound of a fire bell in the background, confirming the situation&#8217;s urgency.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/aviationa2z.com\/index.php\/tag\/Boeing-767\/\">Boeing 767-400<\/a>, registered as N59053, landed safely on Newark\u2019s runway 22R approximately 50 minutes after the initial alarm.
