BENGALURU-<\/strong> Tata Group-owned LCC, Air India Express (IX)<\/a> flight from Kempegowda International Airport Bengaluru (BLR) to Visakhapatnam International Airport (VTZ) made a U-turn due to technical issues, Today, on January 25, 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to the published schedule, Air India Express operates one daily flight between two South Indian cities using an A320 family aircraft.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to FlightRadar24 data, Air India Express flight IX2563<\/strong>\u00a0took off from Bengaluru at 4:46 AM UTC. Shortly after takeoff, the flight crew reported some technical issues while climbing at 20,000 feet with the aircraft.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The crew stopped climbing, contacted the air traffic controller, and decided to make a precautionary landing back at BLR. Without burning extra fuel needed to reach Visakhapatnam, the crew made a heavy landing at BLR at 5:27 AM UTC (10:57 AM local time).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The airport official reported that the flight did not declare any emergency and made a precautionary landing due to a technical problem with the aircraft. The exact details are not revealed by airline and airport officials.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
