Frontier confirmed that only crew members were on board, with no reported injuries, and the airline is assessing damage and re-accommodating customers.

A similar incident transpired at Boston Logan International Airport on November 25, 2024, when an American Airlines plane clipped the wing of a Frontier Airlines aircraft at Terminal E.

The Frontier flight, en route to Dallas with 200 passengers, experienced no injuries to passengers or crew. American Airlines reported that its Flight 109, arriving from London’s Heathrow Airport, made contact with a parked aircraft while pulling into the gate.

Massport, managing Boston Logan, characterized the incident as minor and occurring at low speed.
