However, on this flight, passengers were informed that the toilets would not flush. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As a workaround, they were advised to use water bottles in the toilets to mimic flushing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This issue was not isolated to the Midland-Detroit leg. The aircraft had reportedly flown into Midland with the same malfunction, continued on to Detroit, and later proceeded to Montreal. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Despite the availability of maintenance facilities in Detroit, no repairs were undertaken. According to reports, the captain of the flight requested an aircraft change, but this was denied to avoid delays.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The incident raises concerns about the operational priorities of airlines. Delta Air Lines, known for branding itself as a premium carrier, relies on regional partners like SkyWest to operate many of its flights. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>However, passengers booked on Delta expect the same standard of service regardless of the operator.
