Today, on January 3, 2025<\/strong>, Emirates introduced its state-of-the-art A350 on the Dubai (DXB) to Edinburgh (EDI) route, featuring an upgraded ‘ice’ IFE system that offers cutting-edge technology and tailored passenger services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Emirates Debuts First A350<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The inaugural flight of Emirates’ (EK) first Airbus A350-900, operating as EK23, departed Dubai International Airport (DXB)<\/a> at 3:26 PM local time on January 3, 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Airbus A350 replaces the Boeing 777 aircraft on the Dubai-Edinburgh route, which resumed a few months back after 4-year hiatus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The aircraft embarked on its journey to Edinburgh (EDI)<\/a>, Scotland, marking a historic milestone for the airline. After a smooth and efficient flight, EK23 will touch down at Edinburgh Airport at 6:59 PM local time. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
