The disruption stems from Pratt & Whitney’s prolonged engine maintenance schedules<\/strong>, directly impacting airBaltic’s Airbus A220-300 fleet operations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

airBaltic to Cancel 4,670 Flights<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The maintenance bottleneck will ground several A220-300 aircraft <\/a>well into 2025, compelling airBaltic to implement significant network adjustments. The airline’s restructuring affects 40 routes, with 19 facing complete suspension and 21 experiencing reduced frequencies.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

This operational downsizing will impact 67,160 passengers<\/strong> who had planned their summer travel through airBaltic’s network.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
