This expansion solidifies the presence of the airline in its 2<sup>nd<\/sup> biggest Hub in India after Delhi (DEL).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With the latest additions, IndiGo now connects <a href=\"https:\/\/aviationa2z.com\/?s=Bengaluru\">Bengaluru (BLR) <\/a>with an extensive network to other parts of the country and abroad. With this, IndiGo (6E) now connects 5 Major Indian cities to Ayodhya (AYJ) including Delhi (DEL), Mumbai (BOM), Hyderabad (HYD), etc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The second addition was the resumption of flights to <strong>Gorakhpur (GOP)<\/strong>. IndiGo had previously operated on the Bengaluru\u2013 Gorakhpur route before suspending it during the pandemic. After nearly five years, the airline has reintroduced this route, catering to the increasing demand for travel to and from the city.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>These new additions have taken the airline\u2019s network reach from 78 to 80 destinations from Kempegowda International Airport.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>IndiGo has set a remarkable milestone at its Bengaluru hub, now offering non-stop flights to an <strong>impressive 80 destinations<\/strong>. The airline will add a 2<sup>nd<\/sup> daily flight to Surat (STV) in Gujarat from 31<sup>st<\/sup> December 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>IndiGo will further expand flights to Goa (GOX) from Bengaluru (BLR). The airline will introduce 3<sup>rd<\/sup> daily flight to Goa (GOX) starting on 15<sup>th<\/sup> January 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>IndiGo (6E) flies to Goa Dabolim (GOI) too, which is the old airport located in Panaji. The airline flies 6 times daily to Dabolim Airport (GOI). With this 3<sup>rd<\/sup> daily flight to Manohar Airport (GOX), there will be 9 daily flights to Goa from Bengaluru (BLR) by IndiGo (6E).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>IndiGo (6E) will also enhance frequency to Varanasi (VNS) and Patna (PAT). The airline will introduce a 4<sup>th<\/sup> daily flight to Varanasi (VNS) starting from 5<sup>th<\/sup> February 2025. The airline will also introduce 4<sup>th<\/sup> and 5<sup>th<\/sup> daily flights to Patna (PAT) starting from 16 February 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As per the AviationA2Z exclusive sources, the airline will operate up to <strong>420X daily flights from Bengaluru (BLR) in January<\/strong>. That translates to 210 daily departures. The airline\u2019s growing network from Bengaluru (BLR) reflects the city&#8217;s importance as a center for business, and tourism.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This is reflected well by the nature of the airline\u2019s network from Bengaluru (BLR). The airline operates flights to a few unique international destinations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Destinations such as Bali (DPS), Mauritius (MRU), and Langkawi (LGK) are a few such destinations. These destinations mainly depend on transfer passengers, coming in from other parts of the country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Bengaluru Airport (BLR) has also achieved a milestone as the airport has handled more than 40 million pax for the first time ever in CY2024, i.e. between January 2024 and December 2024. Hence, Bengaluru was 6<sup>th<\/sup> in terms of the international flights IndiGo (6E) operated. The airline increased the daily departures from about six till February 2024 to fifteen in December 2024. This shows a remarkable <strong>150% growth<\/strong> in flights by IndiGo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The airline also increased the number of destinations it served from Bengaluru (BLR).
