They alerted SeaTac ATC about the situation and decided to safely return back at SEA. It landed back in Seattle at 9:00 PM UTC (1:00 PM local time)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The flight was scheduled to arrive in Honolulu at 12:35 PM local time, however, it was canceled.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The flight was operated by <strong>Airbus A330-243 aircraft<\/strong>, registered as <strong>N393HA<\/strong>. However, the exact details of the passengers and crew are not known yet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/aviationa2z.com\/?s=FAA\">Federal Aviation Administration (FAA)<\/a> has recorded the incident on its Aviation Accidents and Incidents page and has issued the following preliminary statement:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-pullquote\"><blockquote><p>Hawaiian Airlines Flight 21 safely returned to Seattle-Tacoma International Airport around 1 p.m. local time on Monday, Dec. 30, after the crew reported smoke in the flight deck. The Airbus A330 was heading to Daniel K. The incident occurred during the cruise phase at 35,000 feet, approximately 30 minutes after its 6:04 PM departure from Gdansk.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/aviationa2z.com\/index.php\/tag\/delta\/\">Delta Air Lines (DL)<\/a> flight DL850 executed a precautionary landing at Raleigh-Durham International Airport on November 6, 2024, during its Atlanta to Washington D.C. service due to cockpit fumes.
