Notable adjustments are summarized below:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-addis-ababa\"><strong>Addis Ababa<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Starting May 1, 2025, Emirates will introduce the <strong>Boeing 777-200LR<\/strong> on its daily service between <a href=\"https:\/\/aviationa2z.com\/index.php\/tag\/Dubai-Airport\/\">Dubai (DXB)<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/aviationa2z.com\/?s=Addis-Ababa\">Addis Ababa (ADD)<\/a>, replacing the larger <strong>Boeing 777-300ER<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This adjustment is part of the airline\u2019s strategy to utilize more fuel-efficient aircraft on routes where passenger demand can be effectively met with smaller models.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-ho-chi-minh-city\"><strong>Ho Chi Minh City<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Flights EK364\/365 on the Dubai (DXB)\u2013<a href=\"https:\/\/aviationa2z.com\/?s=Ho+Chi+Minh\">Ho Chi Minh City (SGN)<\/a> route will transition from the <strong>Boeing 777-300ER<\/strong> to the more efficient <strong>Boeing 777-200LR<\/strong>, effective June 1, 2025. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The updated aircraft will continue to provide a premium travel experience while better aligning with passenger volume trends.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-johannesburg\"><strong>Johannesburg<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Effective March 30, 2025, Emirates will modify its operations to <a href=\"https:\/\/aviationa2z.com\/?s=Johannesburg\">Johannesburg (JNB)<\/a> by replacing one of its two daily <strong>A380<\/strong> flights with a <strong>3-class Boeing 777-300ER<\/strong> on flight EK761\/762. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This change reduces overall A380 service on the route from two to one daily, offering a mix of capacity options for travelers while maintaining premium service offerings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-lisbon\"><strong>Lisbon<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>On September 21, 2025, Emirates will deploy the <strong>Boeing 777-200LR<\/strong> on its flights EK193\/194 between Dubai and <a href=\"https:\/\/aviationa2z.com\/?s=Lisbon\">Lisbon (LIS)<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This aircraft replacement reflects the airline\u2019s effort to balance capacity and operational efficiency on its European routes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-london-gatwick\"><strong>London Gatwick<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>From March 30 to September 30, 2025, Emirates will adjust its operations at <a href=\"https:\/\/aviationa2z.com\/index.php\/tag\/London-Gatwick\">London Gatwick (LGW)<\/a> by replacing the <strong>2-class A380<\/strong> on flights EK011\/012 with a <strong>2-class Boeing 777-300ER<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As a result, the number of daily <strong>A380<\/strong> flights will decrease from three to two. All flights will be operated by the <strong>Boeing 777-300ER<\/strong>, adding more capacity to meet growing demand while maintaining nonstop connectivity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Additionally, the Dubai (DXB) \u2013 <a href=\"https:\/\/aviationa2z.com\/index.php\/tag\/changi-airport\/\">Singapore (SIN)<\/a> \u2013 Melbourne (MEL) service will be discontinued from the same date. Despite this cancellation, Emirates will maintain four daily flights to Singapore, ensuring consistent connectivity to Southeast Asia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-muscat\"><strong>Muscat<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/aviationa2z.com\/?s=Muscat\">Muscat (MCT)<\/a> will see two updates in aircraft deployment:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Flights EK866\/867 (from March 30, 2025):<\/strong> The <strong>A350-900<\/strong> will replace the <strong>Boeing 777-300ER<\/strong>, offering improved efficiency and passenger comfort.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Flights EK862\/863 (from April 5, 2025):<\/strong> A <strong>Boeing 777-300ER<\/strong> will replace the <strong>Boeing 777-200LR<\/strong> for one weekly service, enhancing capacity on this short-haul route.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-oslo\"><strong>Oslo<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Between March 30 and July 31, 2025, Emirates will temporarily deploy a <strong>3-class Boeing 777-300ER<\/strong> on its Dubai \u2013 <a href=\"https:\/\/aviationa2z.com\/?s=Oslo\">Oslo (OSL)<\/a> route, replacing the <strong>Boeing 777-200LR<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During this period, First Class bookings will not be available, though Business and Economy services remain unchanged.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-perth\"><strong>Perth<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>For flights EK424\/425 between August 1 and September 30, 2025, Emirates will continue operating the <strong>Boeing 777-300ER<\/strong>, postponing the introduction of the <strong>Boeing 777-200LR<\/strong> to October 1, 2025.
