MUMBAI-<\/strong> The Adani Group<\/a> has acquired Air Works<\/a>, India\u2019s largest private aviation MRO<\/strong> (Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul) firm, for $47 million.<\/strong> The strategic acquisition aligns with Adani’s vision of strengthening India\u2019s aviation infrastructure and enhancing its capabilities in both civil and defense aviation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This deal, executed through Adani Defence Systems & Technologies Ltd (ADSTL)<\/strong>, includes an 85.8% stake<\/strong> in Air Works, further solidifying the group\u2019s position as a leader in the aviation sector.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Air Works, a pioneer in aviation MRO services, operates across 35 cities<\/strong> in India, supported by a team of over 1,300 professionals<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The company\u2019s expertise spans comprehensive aviation services such as line maintenance<\/strong>, heavy checks<\/strong>, avionics<\/strong>, aircraft painting<\/strong>, and interior refurbishment<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

It also handles base maintenance for narrowbody<\/strong>, turboprop<\/strong>, and rotary aircraft<\/strong> from its facilities in Hosur (NIL)<\/strong>, Mumbai (BOM)<\/a><\/strong>, and Kochi (COk)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The acquisition allows Adani to integrate Air Works\u2019 capabilities into its portfolio, elevating the group\u2019s ability to provide end-to-end aviation solutions. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Notably, Air Works holds regulatory approvals from over 20 international aviation<\/strong> authorities, making it a trusted partner for global and domestic clients.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
