SEOUL-<\/strong> Air Premia (YP)<\/a>, Korea\u2019s top hybrid carrier, announced it has added a sixth Boeing 787 Dreamliner to its fleet, marking its first expansion in 18 months. The airline plans to introduce three more aircraft in 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Air Premia operates scheduled flights to Los Angeles, New York, San Francisco, Tokyo Narita, and Bangkok. It plans to launch routes to Da Nang<\/strong> and Hong Kong<\/a> in early 2025, followed by Honolulu<\/a> <\/strong>and Seattle<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Air Premia New Flights<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Air Premia (YP) is going to start new flights to the US<\/strong>, Hong Kong,<\/strong> and Vietnam<\/strong>. The destinations they will be operating are Seattle<\/strong>, Honolulu<\/strong>, Hong Kong,<\/strong> and Da Nang<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This announcement comes after Air Premia announced to addition of three more Boeing 787-9 Dreamliners to its fleet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Air Premia will add three more aircraft in 2025, increasing its fleet size to nine by the end of the year to support its network expansion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Seung-shin Park, Head of Public Relations at Air Premia<\/strong>, stated that fleet expansion is essential for growth in the aviation industry. He emphasized that the airline is building a balanced route portfolio to improve customer convenience and profitability.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Operations and Routes<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The new Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner features a 344-seat layout, including 35 premium economy seats with a 46-inch pitch and 309 economy seats with a 31-inch pitch. As part of fleet expansion, economy class seats will be upgraded to a 33-inch pitch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The aircraft, currently undergoing inspection and interior upgrades, will begin commercial operations in January 2025, focusing on routes to the Americas.

Its fuselage, made of over 50% carbon composite materials<\/strong>, provides 20% better fuel efficiency than traditional passenger aircraft. With a range exceeding 15,000 km<\/strong>, it is well-suited for long-haul routes like Seoul to New York.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
