It is a cost-effective aircraft with modern technology.

The airline has partnered with StandardAero, one of the biggest MRO service providers in the world. StandardAero is well-known for maintaining the 737 MAX series aircraft’s engines, which are the CFM LEAP-1B series.

SpiceJet Chairman and Managing Director Ajay Singh recently mentioned that the airline’s operations and finances will be strengthened while returning them to active status.

The airline is focusing on the 737 MAX operation to reduce fuel consumption. SpiceJet wants to improve its fleet uptime, avoid expensive grounding costs, and ultimately boost profits.

<img decoding="async" width="1024" height="576" src="https://aviationa2z.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/11/q4q96rxg-1024x576.webp" alt="SpiceJet (SG), plans to bring 3 of its 7 grounded Boeing 737 MAX aircraft back into service by April 2025.
