DUBLIN-<\/strong> Flag carrier of Switzerland, Swiss International Airlines (LX) <\/a>flight LX65 from Miami International Airport (MIA) to Zurich Airport (ZRH) diverted to Dublin Airport (DUB) on December 10, 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

SWISS operates two daily flights between Zurich and Miami, one with Airbus A330s and the other with Boeing 777s. It also codeshares on this route with its Star Alliance partner, United Airlines (UA).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

SWISS Miami to Zurich Flight Diverted<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

According to FlightRadar24 data, SWISS return flight LX65 took off from Miami at 1:39 AM UTC after a layover of around two hours and 20 mins.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The flight operated normally over the Atlantic Ocean for the next seven hours. But just a few hours before its scheduled landing in Zurich, the flight reported some technical issues with the aircraft.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The SWISS pilots contacted Dublin <\/a>ATC and asked for landing permission and landed safely. The SWISS plane landed safely at 9:25 AM UTC.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Shauns_Aviation<\/a>, a Dublin-based independent reporter shared an update that the SWISS plane is now grounded at Dublin amid technical issues. The airline arranged other aircraft and accommodated passengers on an afternoon flight.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is a confirmed Technical related diversion, the aircraft (HB-JNF) is now grounded in Dublin for the foreseeable future.
