This new route is in addition to its existing international services to Cancun, Mexico (CUN) and Montego Bay, Jamaica (MBJ).&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Punta Cana route will operate twice weekly on Fridays and Mondays.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To support this expansion, Avelo will base a seventh Boeing 737-800 aircraft at HVN in January, with eight aircraft dedicated to HVN operations, including one based at Raleigh-Durham International Airport (RDU).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Avelo recently strengthened its presence at BDL with two aircraft positioned there as part of its Connecticut base.
