GURUGRAM-<\/strong> Tata Group-owned Air India (AI) <\/a>has announced the optimization of its domestic route network following the integration of Vistara <\/a>earlier this month.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Starting December 1, 2024, the airline will deploy its top-tier narrowbody cabin products on five key metro-to-metro routes. These flights will exclusively use former Vistara A320-series aircraft, featuring Business, Premium Economy, and Economy Class cabins.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Air India Vistara Planes<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The routes include Delhi-Mumbai, Delhi-Bengaluru, Delhi-Hyderabad, Mumbai-Bengaluru, and Mumbai-Hyderabad. Flights on these routes will operate under Air India’s “AI” code with four-digit numbers beginning with “2,” such as AI2999 for Delhi-Mumbai.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To enhance passenger convenience, Air India will adjust flight schedules to ensure departures are evenly spread throughout the day while maintaining existing frequencies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The airline now offers over 1,000 weekly round-trip flights <\/strong>on these routes, including<\/p>\n\n\n\n
