No injuries were reported among those aboard the aircraft, as reported by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cbsnews.com\/boston\/news\/cape-air-plane-struck-tug-vehicle-logan-airport\/\" rel=\"nofollow\">CBS News<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Massport stated that the collision occurred around 6:30 p.m. when a tug vehicle towing an empty JetBlue aircraft hit the rear of the Cape Air plane at a low speed. Following the incident, the Cape Air pilots were transported to the hospital for precautionary evaluation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has reported the incident on its Statements on Aviation Accidents and Incidents page and stated,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-pullquote\"><blockquote><p>While under tow, a JetBlue Airbus A321 struck the back of Cape Air Flight 617, a Tecnam P2012, which was waiting to park at a gate at Boston Logan International Airport. The incident occurred around 6:15 p.m. local time on Monday, Nov. 25.<\/p><cite>FAA Statement<\/cite><\/blockquote><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Furthermore, the FAA has said that they will investigate the incident.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>JetBlue aircraft involved in the incident is <a href=\"https:\/\/aviationa2z.com\/?s=A321\">Airbus A321-200<\/a>, registered as N948JB. Further, it is a 9.7-year-old aircraft. While the Cape Air aircraft involved in the incident is Tecnam P2012, a small 11-seater aircraft.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Cape Air plane involved has been removed from service for inspection, ensuring safety protocols are maintained. Frontier Airlines confirmed that the affected flight, carrying 200 passengers en route to Dallas, reported no injuries to passengers or crew.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>American Airlines stated that Flight 109, arriving from London Heathrow, struck the Frontier plane while maneuvering into the gate. No injuries were reported, and passengers disembarked shortly after the incident.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Massport, which oversees Boston Logan, described the collision as minor, noting it occurred at a slow speed. Both airlines apologized to passengers for the disruption.
