COPENHAGEN-<\/strong> Scandinavian Airlines or SAS (SK) <\/a>flight SK957 from Stockholm Airport (ARN) to Miami International Airport (MIA) experienced severe turbulence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Following this, the flight crew decided to make a U-turn and was expected to land in Copenhagen (CPH) and the aircraft was airborne while writing the post.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

SAS Flight Turbulence<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

SAS flight witnessed heavy turbulence while flying between Iceland and Greenland, as reported by FL360 aero on X (formerly known as Twitter).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to FlightRadar24, SAS Flight SK957 took off from Stockholm at 12:09 AM UTC. After being airborne for around four hours, at 35,000 feet, the flight faced turbulence <\/a>near Greenland due to extreme weather conditions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A user who goes by ZamZamZam (@zamzam1925) \/ X<\/a> on X shared the images of the cabin after the turbulence and also shared the screenshot of weather patterns near Greenland.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The flight is operated by a 9.2-year-old Airbus A330-300, registered as LN-RKS<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

While a person onboard the flight typed on X, “I\u2018m on this flight. All information is that there is small damage. No problems and calm moods on board!”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

SAS flight #SK957<\/a> descended 8300 feet (2500 meters) over Greenland at 16:20 UTC. This indicates that the flight was hit by severe turbulence.
