SEOUL-<\/strong> Video footage has surfaced of a passenger attempting to open an emergency exit mid-flight on Korean Air (KE) <\/a>flight KE658 <\/strong>from Bangkok (BKK) to Seoul (ICN)<\/a>. The incident occurred on Friday (November 8, 2024) and was captured by passenger Jackson Lee (@whojacksonlee) on TikTok.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the footage, a male passenger repeatedly tried to turn the emergency exit door handle before the flight crew quickly restrained him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Korean Air Passenger Tries to Open Door<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

After the man threatened crew members and attempted to open the door, he was handed over to South Korean police upon landing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

South Korean media outlet Maeil Business Newspaper (MK)<\/em> reported that Korean Air confirmed the man exhibited aggressive behavior, attempted to access the exit, and threatened crew members during the flight.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The nine-second clip shows the man, dressed in a white T-shirt, holding up his phone near the emergency exit door and pointing it at cabin crew.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
