PARIS-<\/strong> European carriers Air France (AF)<\/a> and KLM (KL) <\/a>announced on Tuesday (November 5, 2024) an increase in their India flight operations, boosting their weekly flights to 50 from the previous 39 during the summer schedule.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The 11 additional flights will serve Delhi (DEL), Mumbai (BOM), and Bengaluru (BLR), enhancing connectivity to and from India, according to the airlines’ statement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Air France KLM India Flights<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The expanded schedule will feature the airlines’ latest fleet, including models such as the Airbus A350, Boeing 777<\/a>, and Boeing 787 Dreamliner<\/a>, for increased comfort and efficiency on these routes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Starting October 30, Air France and KLM will operate up to 50 flights per week to Amsterdam and Paris (Charles de Gaulle Airport) from their three Indian gateways: Bengaluru, Delhi, and Mumbai.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As part of this schedule increase, Air France will add a second weekly flight between Paris and Delhi, operating three times a week alongside its existing thrice-weekly service, further enhancing travel options for passengers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Air France has increased its weekly flights on the Mumbai-Paris route from three to six between December 10 and February 17.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Executive Remarks<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

“India is a crucial market for Air France-KLM. This expansion underscores our commitment to Indian customers. By enhancing frequency and connectivity, we aim to provide greater flexibility and choice, especially during the peak winter season,”<\/em> said Claude Sarre, Country Manager for Air France-KLM in the Indian Sub-Continent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

KLM has also raised its weekly flights on the Bengaluru<\/a>-Amsterdam route from four to six, as per the updated schedule.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Mumbai-Amsterdam route will add a second flight, operating three times a week from January 14, 2025, through March, supplementing KLM’s existing three weekly flights on this route.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With dual hubs in Amsterdam and Paris, Charles de Gaulle, Air France-KLM enables travelers from India to access over 300 global destinations, ensuring extensive travel options and smooth connectivity, according to the statement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
