ABU DHABI-<\/strong> UAE-based carrier, Etihad Airways (EY)<\/a> reintroduced its A380 aircraft on the Paris Charles de Gaulle (CDG) route, enhancing the travel options between Abu Dhabi (AUH) and Paris.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Airbus A380<\/a>, the world\u2019s largest passenger aircraft at 73 meters long and 24 meters high, brings back Etihad\u2019s signature inflight amenities, including The Residence\u2014the only three-room suite in the sky. The upper deck features The Lobby, an exclusive lounge area for First and Business Class passengers, elevating the luxury experience for travelers on this route.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Etihad A380 Flights to Paris<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The A380, designed and assembled in Europe<\/a>, primarily in Toulouse, France, stands as a testament to French aerospace engineering and innovation. The aircraft\u2019s return to Paris highlights this legacy of excellence in aviation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The return of our A380 enhances the travel options between Abu Dhabi and Paris, underscoring our commitment to this vital route.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Additionally, Etihad\u2019s plans for broader network expansion include year-round, double-daily flights to key European destinations like Milan, Rome, Manchester, Frankfurt, Munich, Zurich, Barcelona, and Madrid.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

De emphasized that this increase in capacity reflects growing demand in France, with further announcements expected before the end of 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The UAE and France maintain strong bilateral ties spanning culture, education, and business. Abu Dhabi and Paris uniquely connect as the only cities worldwide to host a Louvre Museum, catering to increasing demand from leisure travelers and reinforcing business ties in aviation, energy, and luxury sectors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Capacity Increase<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The reintroduction of Etihad Airways\u2019 A380 increases capacity on the Abu Dhabi-Paris route by 31 percent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

From January 15, 2025, a three-class Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner<\/a> will join the service. Both aircraft feature three-class configurations, with Etihad\u2019s signature First Class available on all frequencies. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The A380 provides 486 seats, comprising nine First Apartments, 70 Business Studios, and 405 Economy Smart seats, including 68 extra-legroom options. The Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner offers eight First Suites, 28 Business Studios, and 190 Economy Smart seats.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Combined, the A380 and Dreamliner will supply nearly 5,000 weekly seats<\/strong>, substantially enhancing connectivity between Abu Dhabi and Paris.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This expanded schedule offers more opportunities for travelers to experience Abu Dhabi\u2019s attractions, from its year-round sunshine to its rich visitor experiences. Abu Dhabi also serves as a global transit hub, providing seamless connections to key international destinations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Etihad\u2019s Abu Dhabi Zayed International Airport Stopover program allows travelers to extend layovers, offering up to two complimentary nights at premium Abu Dhabi hotels and showcasing the city\u2019s appeal as a growing tourist destination.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The expansion of Etihad\u2019s Paris route highlights the airline\u2019s dedication to connecting global destinations and enhancing the travel experience for passengers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
