This strategic move will quadruple their joint weekly scheduled services between the two countries, scaling up from 14 to 56 flights.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Singapore Airlines<\/strong> gains extensive access to India&#8217;s domestic network through new codeshare routes with Air India.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The partnership enables Singapore Airlines to connect passengers through <strong>Delhi<\/strong> to Amritsar, Bengaluru, Coimbatore, Lucknow, and Varanasi.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Mumbai<\/strong> emerges as another crucial hub, linking to Ahmedabad, Amritsar, Bengaluru, Coimbatore, Goa, Jaipur, Kolkata, Lucknow, and Thiruvananthapuram. The expansion addresses growing travel demand between India and Singapore while supporting aviation market growth in both regions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Lee highlights the strategic importance of incorporating Air India&#8217;s domestic network, positioning India as a key market for the Singapore Airlines Group.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Apart from this, Air India is looking to <a href=\"https:\/\/aviationa2z.com\/index.php\/2024\/10\/20\/air-india-new-codeshare-with-international-carriers\/\">form new or extend existing codeshare agreements<\/a> with foreign carriers such as Air Canada (AC), Lufthansa (LH), and United Airlines (UA).
