The airport plans to expand services based on passenger demand growth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>YIAPL, a Zurich AG subsidiary, has outlined critical timelines for Noida International Airport&#8217;s clearances. NIAL CEO Arun Vir Singh emphasizes meeting the April 17 deadline to avoid six-month delays in international approvals and IATA slot allocations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The airport&#8217;s opening has shifted from September 2024 to 2025. Initial operations by 2025 will maintain the planned 65 daily flights, comprising 62 domestic, two international, and one cargo service.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>IATA and DGCA discussions continue for international and domestic route approvals. These tests ensure operational readiness and safety compliance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>YIAPL will submit its aerodrome license application in December, expecting approval by mid-March. The airport&#8217;s essential information will be available on IATA&#8217;s website by February 6, 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ticket bookings will commence 90 days before international flights and 60 days before domestic services, starting January or February 2025. The aviation ministry has received a detailed flight schedule report following recent discussions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Uttar Pradesh government imposed a \u20b921 crore fine on NIAL for delaying operations from September 2024 to April 2025. The infrastructure will integrate cargo facilities and comprehensive MRO services to support diverse aviation operations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>NIA will operate as the Delhi-NCR region&#8217;s third commercial airport, complementing Indira Gandhi International Airport and Hindon Air Base.
