The aircraft carried 154 staff and passengers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Numerous Australian news sources indicated that the substantial emergency services response was triggered by the bomb scare. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Journalist Brian Wilson reported that the aircraft halted on a utility taxiway, positioned away from the airport terminals, and remained there for over an hour before taxiing to the international terminal, where Federal Police awaited its arrival.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Captain David Morgan, Air New Zealand&#8217;s chief operational integrity and safety officer, confirmed the airline&#8217;s awareness of the security incident and stated, &#8220;We are working with the local authorities and following standard protocols established for such incidents.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>7News noted that no individuals had been observed exiting the A320 since its landing.
