In 2022, following Nancy Pelosi’s controversial Taipei visit and subsequent Chinese military exercises, China Airlines placed a $4.6 billion order for Boeing 787s to replace its Airbus A330s. This decision demonstrated the interplay between geopolitics and commercial aviation deals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
