According to flight tracking website, FlightRadar24 data, Emirates flight <strong>EK547 <\/strong>was expected to take off from Chennai at 10:00 PM local time, but due to smoke, the flight was delayed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The flight crew promptly alerted airport officials upon noticing the smoke from APU. Technical experts were immediately dispatched to inspect the aircraft. Within approximately 10 minutes, the smoke ceased, according to airport authorities. Fire tenders also arrived at the scene as a precautionary measure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Auxiliary Power Unit (APU)<\/strong>, a compact gas turbine engine located in the aircraft&#8217;s tail cone, provides essential autonomous electrical and mechanical power. Airport authorities have not immediately disclosed the cause of the smoke.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Following this, the flight departed at 12:30 AM IST and landed safely in Dubai at around 2:30 AM local time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The flight EK547 was operated by <a href=\"https:\/\/aviationa2z.com\/?s=777\">Boeing 777-300ER, <\/a>registered as A6-ECZ.
