The security issue led to diversion after the crew found a bomb threat note on tissue paper. All passengers and crew are safe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Further, Air India (AI) flight AI471 from Delhi to Visakhapatnam received a bomb threat<\/a> on September 3, 2024. The flight landed safely at Visakhapatnam Airport with 107 passengers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Airport security teams conducted a comprehensive search upon arrival. Passengers disembarked to allow for a thorough inspection of the aircraft, cargo, and personal belongings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Visakhapatnam Airport Director S Raja Reddy confirmed the threat as a hoax after rigorous scrutiny. Officials found no suspicious items or explosives on board.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Subsequently, On September 1, 2024, IndiGo flight 6E7308, traveling from Jabalpur to Hyderabad, diverted to Nagpur due to a bomb threat<\/a>. The airline confirmed all passengers remained safe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The ATR72 aircraft, registered as VT-IRL, landed safely in Nagpur after receiving the threat. Authorities initiated emergency protocols upon arrival.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Passengers evacuated the aircraft as a precautionary measure. Security teams conducted thorough inspections of the plane and luggage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
