GURUGRAM-<\/strong> Tata Group-owned low-cost carrier, Air India Express (IX)<\/a> launched six new daily direct flights, enhancing its domestic network.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The new routes connect Chennai (MAA)-Bhubaneswar (BBI), Chennai-Bagdogra (IXB), Chennai-Thiruvananthapuram (TRV), Kolkata (CCU)-Varanasi (VNS), Kolkata-Guwahati (GAU), and Guwahati-Jaipur (JAI).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Air India Express 6 New Domestic Flights<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Five of these routes are new to the airline’s network, with the Guwahati-Jaipur flight being an exclusive <\/strong>offering. The Chennai-Thiruvananthapuram route, previously served by two weekly flights, now operates nine flights weekly to meet increased demand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Chennai <\/a>emerges as a key hub, connecting to 10 destinations directly and offering one-stop connectivity to 24 locations. Bhubaneswar gains direct flights to seven domestic cities and 26 one-stop itineraries. Bagdogra connects to five domestic destinations directly and 26 one-stop locations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kolkata <\/a>becomes Air India Express’s third-largest station, operating 124 weekly flights to 34 destinations. Thiruvananthapuram sees 12 direct flights and connections to 23 one-stop destinations. Guwahati links to eight domestic cities directly and 23 one-stop destinations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Varanasi operations expanded with 42 weekly departures, connecting to three domestic and one international destination directly. Jaipur receives nine direct flights to domestic destinations and one international route, with connections to 24 one-stop destinations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
