In a message to employees, Dube projected Akasa&#8217;s ascent into the top 30 global airlines by 2030.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Despite facing Boeing delivery uncertainties, Akasa has secured a <strong>firm order for 226 MAX aircraft <\/strong>within 17 months of starting operations, an unprecedented achievement for an Indian airline. However, Boeing&#8217;s last MAX delivery to Akasa occurred in February, raising concerns about future fleet growth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pilots have expressed worries about slow training programs and reduced flying hours, impacting their earnings. Dube addressed these issues in a Town Hall meeting with pilots on Wednesday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Akasa is evaluating Boeing&#8217;s delivery capabilities and considering alternative options to maintain its growth trajectory. The airline, initially funded by late investor <strong>Rakesh Jhunjhunwala<\/strong>, commenced operations on August 7, 2022, with its inaugural flight from Mumbai to Ahmedabad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In its two-year existence, Akasa has transported over<strong> 11 million passengers<\/strong>.
