AUCKLAND-<\/strong> Air New Zealand (NZ) <\/a>flight NZ946 <\/strong>faced unexpected challenges on Monday, July 29, as it attempted to land at Rarotonga International Airport (RAR).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hugh Pearce, Air New Zealand’s head of flight operations, confirmed the redirection was due to unsafe landing conditions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
