It’s been a slow day and most people are visiting the chalet and exhibition to explore innovative products and technologies. But here are some updates:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-KLM and ZeroAvia join forces to test hydrogen-electric engines in large regional turboprops. The collaboration aims to showcase ZeroAvia’s ZA2000 engine technology in a demonstration flight.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Safran has been selected by Boeing to provide the electrical generation system for the NASA X-66 sustainable flight demonstrator.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

10:25 AM-<\/strong> Turkish Helicopter G\u00d6KBEY Makes International Debut at Farnborough Airshow. G\u00d6KBEY represents a new generation of helicopters in the six-ton class. It features twin engines, enhancing its power and reliability. The aircraft’s design allows it to operate effectively in diverse and challenging environments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

9:09 AM-<\/strong> Air Tahiti (VT) strengthens its regional operations by ordering four ATR 72-600 aircraft <\/a>from ATR, the world’s leading regional aircraft manufacturer. The airline also signed an eight-year Global Maintenance Agreement (GMA) with ATR, ensuring long-term support for its fleet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The new aircraft will arrive between 2025 and 2028, demonstrating Air Tahiti’s commitment to future growth and sustainable air travel in French Polynesia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

9:05 AM-<\/strong> EVA Air (BR) has chosen GEnx engines to power its newly ordered Boeing 787-10 Dreamliner aircraft<\/a>. This decision follows the airline’s recent purchase of four 787-10 planes, expanding its long-haul fleet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
