Yukio Nakagawa, Japan Airlines&#8217; Senior VP of Procurement, and Christian Scherer, <a href=\"https:\/\/aviationa2z.com\/index.php\/tag\/airbus\/\">Airbus Commercial Aircraft<\/a> CEO, signed the deal. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Japan Airlines will use <a href=\"https:\/\/aviationa2z.com\/index.php\/tag\/airbus-a350\/\">A350-900s<\/a> for international routes and <a href=\"https:\/\/aviationa2z.com\/index.php\/tag\/airbus-a321neo\/\">A321neos<\/a> for domestic flights. Japan Airlines&#8217; total A350 orders reached 52, with 18 already in use. This marks Japan Airlines&#8217; first Airbus single-aisle plane order. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Japan Airlines&#8217; Yukio Nakagawa affirms commitment to A350s and A321s. New aircraft will improve passenger service and reduce CO\u2082 emissions. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-pullquote is-style-default\"><blockquote><p>We are delighted to have signed the firm order for the introduction of additional A350s and new A321s. By June 2024, A350 Family secured over 1,300 orders from 60 global customers. A321neo offers superior range and performance in the A320neo Family. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A321neo reduces noise by 50% and cuts fuel use and CO\u2082 emissions by 20%. Over 6,400 A321neos were ordered by 90+ customers worldwide.
