KAHULUI-<\/strong> A Hawaiian Airlines (HA)<\/a> flight arriving from Seattle (SEA) overshot the runway at Kahului Airport (OGG) in Maui on Thursday afternoon (July 11, 2024), prompting a temporary closure of one runway and causing minor disruptions to air traffic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The incident occurred around 1:30 p.m. local time when Hawaiian Airlines Flight HA29<\/strong>, an Airbus A321neo<\/a>, experienced brake issues upon landing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
